About Us

CICSSA was born in 1950, becoming one of the main manufacturers of corrugated cardboard containers in the country.

In June 2000 the company was acquired by the Mustad group, a family-owned industrial group of Norwegian origin, founded in 1832.

We currently develop and manufacture various corrugated cardboard packages for all types of industries and products, such as: the refrigeration industry, citrus fruits, dairy products, the pharmaceutical industry, the fishing industry, wineries, beverages, and food in general, among others.

Complementing the traditional products in corrugated cardboard, we also offer special products, some of them are: boxes with offset printing (in cardboard laminated on corrugated cardboard), Bag in Box (including the plastic bag), cardboard pallets, octobins, rigid corners , corrugated cardboard rolls (single face).

More recently, in 2010, we expanded our proposal with the incorporation of a Logistics Division through which we offer storage of various merchandise, loading and unloading services, cold storage and packing assembly.

Our objective is to provide recyclable packaging solutions with a vocation for customer service and constant innovation, supported by our Integrated Management System, certified in accordance with UNIT-ISO 9001:2015 and UNIT-ISO 45001:2018 (Safety and Health at Work).

INDUSTRIAL PLANT

We are located at Av. Wilson Ferreira Aldunate Km. 16,500 s/n (ex-Camino Carrasco), Paso Carrasco, Canelones, less than 10 minutes from Carrasco International Airport.

Our property occupies a total area of 226,000 m2, in which we have the capacity to process, in three shifts, 2,000 tons of cardboard packaging per month. We allocate approximately 6,000 m2 to the Logistics and Storage service.
